The Clever Crow (a story)

21 Jan

Once upon a time in a village there lived a couple of crows in a tree. They had built a beautiful nest on the tree but under the tree was a snake that was always searching for a chance to eat up the eggs of the crows. One day while the crows were outside the snake ate up the eggs of the crows. The leader of the crows or the mother crow thought of a plan to teach a lesson to the snake. The plan was to steal the necklace of the princess who was always used to take bath in the lake next to the tree and to put in the snake’s hole. The crows did as per their plan. As the necklace of the princess was lost she told her soldiers to search it and bring it back for her. The soldiers started searching and finally found it on the hole of the snake under the tree. They killed the snake and took the necklace of the princess. As a result the crows could now live happily ever after.
